Admission

For more than 30 years, National Experimental High School (NEHS) has been a leader in education in the nation. At the core of our wide range of academic inquiry is the commitment to attract and engage students in pursuit of greater achievements and personal growth. For admission, students eager to enroll from preschool to junior high school level should be children of the employees in Hsinchu Science Park, or those of the academic and research institutes in the Greater Science Park Area. Application will be open every year in March, and admission will be determined through a lottery system held in May. For senior high school level, admission will be evaluated based on applicants' achievement in the nation-wide Comprehensive Assessment Program for Junior High School Students.

NEHS also includes a bilingual department, also known as International Bilingual School at Hsinchu Science Park (IBSH). Bilingual education is offered to those coming from overseas in an effort to assist them in either transferring to the local education system or returning overseas later for further studies. Admission requirements are based on the Regulation Governing the Admission of Students to Bilingual Departments of Schools or Bilingual Schools at Senior Secondary Level or Below in Science Parks.
